Repair and Testing Services

Please help us to diagnose your problem by providing some basic information:

  • Your name, company name and contact information
  • Manufacturer and model of equipment
  • Serial and version number if applicable
  • Detailed description of the problem you're experiencing
Return Materials Authorization procedure

If equipment must be returned to our factory for testing and repair, please call (+1 517 322 0250) or email (service@techmark-inc.com) our offices and we will assign an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number to your return. Please package the equipment well and label the shipment with our address and with the RMA number as follows:

Standard Repair Service

Techmark's turnaround time for most repairs and upgrades is quite fast - 3 to 10 working days. Exact time requirements for your repair will depend on the nature of the repair and the volume of equipment received by our Repair Department. Please ask for a completion date estimate when submitting your repair and we'll let you know what to expect. We complete repairs on a "first in, first out" basis as much as possible and we are able to keep customers informed on the status of their repair progress as requested. We'll return your repaired equipment via truck freight or UPS Ground unless you request special delivery. A minimum bench charge applies per repaired or tested item and return freight costs are billed to the client.

Expedited Repair Service

We can assign top-priority status to your equipment repair for an extra charge. Expedited repairs are moved to the top of the list ahead of standard repairs and are completed and returned via overnight courier. If, for some reason, expedited service will not be possible, you'll be informed and no extra service charge or overnight freight charge will be applied.

Loaner Parts Program

In some cases, Techmark can provide you with a loaner part while our technicians are repairing your equipment. We can loan spare CO2 sensors, circuit boards, computers, IRDs and other equipment, as availability will allow. Please inquire about our loaner program when you call for an RMA number. We'll let you know at that time if we can provide temporary help while we repair your equipment.

Sensor Calibration

Techmark provides quick sensor calibration services for all types of temperature, CO2, RH and specialty sensors that we carry. Sensor calibration can usually be done very quickly so the part can be returned to you as quickly as possible. Check with our technicians or sales engineers about recommended intervals between calibrations.

Fancom computer testing and repair

Techmark technicians have been trained and certified to perform most repairs to all Fancom ventilation computers, endstations and peripherals. We can quickly help you recover from lightning strikes or other accidents resulting in equipment damage. Turnaround time varies seasonally depending on workload. If a part must be returned to the manufacturer for repair, we will forward it and return it to you after the repair is completed. Please inquire about our loaner program when you call for an RMA number.

IRD testing and repair

Techmark provides complete service and support for all Impact Recording Devices from battery replacement to serious damage recovery. Most routine upgrades and repairs can be completed in less than 10-14 days. Battery cell replacement, including calibration and testing, can usually be completed in one week or less. We also recommend our testing and calibration services for keeping your IRD in top working condition if your IRD has not been serviced for several years.

Actuator service and repair

We are equipped to test, repair and calibrate all actuators we carry. We have spare parts in stock for all actuators so that repairs can be completed quickly. We can provide guidance to help you remove the damaged actuator and reinstall the repaired actuator and calibrate it properly.
