Two basic options exist for removing air from the storage.
Exhaust fans can be operated by any ventilation computer (fixed or variable speed) to force exhaust air out of the storage in proportion to fresh air entering the inlet. This reduces over -all pressure in the storage, reducing vapor leakage into the insulation materials and building structure.
Alternatively, heavy-duty aluminum exhaust louvers are operated by static pressure to exhaust air. Either system may be covered with MI-T-DARK® to reduce light and cold infiltration.
