Techmark, Inc. Laboratory is an independent agricultural laboratory
that provides superior services to both commercial and research
communities across the nation and around the world.
Our History
 Techmark,
Inc. Laboratory was founded in 1991 with the objective of
providing agricultural enterprises with useful analytical
information to allow progressive application of new technologies.
While we offer both general and niche analytical services
for various agricultural enterprises, we also consult, design
and implement specialized applications and research projects
as requested.
Our goal is to provide our clients with the most accurate,
meaningful results as rapidly as possible, and in some cases
in less than 24 hours. We accomplish this goal by following
strict internal QC guidelines and by participating in the
North American Laboratory Proficiency Testing Program. All
our services share common features:

Services
We provide an array of services for the agricultural community
to assist with production from field to harvest, handling
and storage.
Soil
and Foliar Nutrient Analyses
Our Soil and Foliar Nutrient Analysis program provides critical
information on levels of nutrients in soil and in foliage
during plant growth. This program includes:

quick, 48-hour turnaround on analytical results
- Lab
reports with a graphical summary of results over time for
each field or location
- A
choice from several nutrient analysis panels
Product Quality Services
Product Quality Monitoring
Quality of harvested and stored produce is evaluated by monitoring
biochemical as well as physical characteristics of the product.
Aggregate data are accumulated and summarized allowing comparisons
with overall averages and trends. We are able to design new
services as requested.
Product Damage Evaluation
Techmark, Inc. manufactures and distributes the Impact Recording
Device (IRD). The IRD is used to evaluate damage to fruit,
vegetable and eggs due to handling, equipment and practices.
Our lab can provide damage evaluation services on a project
or consulting basis. Our service includes a technician visit
to your site for thorough evaluation of fruit and vegetable
packing lines, harvesting, washing and handling equipment,
egg conveyors, etc.

The Techmark, Inc. Laboratory also provides analytical services
and collaboration to agricultural industries, universities
and agencies on a project basis. We have used our expertise
to design special projects for research or management purposes
for several companies and agencies in Michigan, across the
