Overview
Techmark's Qual-Trac system was developed and successfully tested over the 2003, 2004, 2005 potato harvest seasons. Qual-Trac provides a yield map of the field and a storage bin map, which correlates the location of the potatoes from the field to the location in the bin. "This system is an integral part of our quality mapping system for potato production and delivery to the final user," states Todd Forbush, engineer at Techmark. Qual-Trac also provides real-time information to harvest managers about the progress of each harvesting system throughout the day and how each truckload of potatoes is being loaded and delivered to the storage. |
